Isaiah 40:15: “Behold, the nations [are] as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.”

So we are four days away from the presidential election and Wiki Leaks comes out with their lastest revelation, proof that Hillary is involved with Wicca and the teachings of Alex Crowley.  I spent thirteen years working for a deliverance ministry so I am quite familiar with Alex Crowley as I met people who followed his teachings. Alex Crowley was labeled as the most wicked man on the face of the earth and for good reason, he was a Satanist.  If even a portion of the emails released by Wiki Leaks is true then we are on the verge of having a Satanist as the president of the United States.

Christians are already absolutely terrified and running scared over this next election. I can imagine how they will feel once they get this bit of news.  Then maybe they already know, I seem to be the last to hear these things.  I am only interested because I find it disturbing, not the things said about the candidates, but about the Christians who are murmuring and fretting.  What have they not read I John 4?  I mean I am an Old Testament guy and I know I John 4 almost by heart. I John 4:4 tells me. “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”  If you read I John 4 you find it is addressing the very thing that Hillary is allegedly involved with and how we should react to it.  Our reaction should be: “So what?  I am praying about it, I trust in God, I believe His Word is true and I don’t care if one of our candidates levitates him or herself under demonic power, because the power in me is greater than all their power put together and I claim that.”

Nebuchadnezzar worshipped the god Nabu for whom he was named after.  Nabu was the son of Marduch whose symbol was a snake, demanded sacrifice of children and well let’s just say Nebuchadnezzar was a satanist.  In fact the Archangel Michael fought 21 days against his demonic forces in the attempt to reach Daniel.  Yet, Daniel prevailed, when the dust was clear, Daniel stood and Nebuchadnezzar spent seven years in insanity wandering around like an animal.

Our job is to just pray for our leaders, vote according to how the Holy Spirit leads and just keep on dancing and singing and praising the Lord.   No matter who is president, this is not our war or battle, it belongs to God and His legion of angels. I feel safer with them than I do our earthly defenders, although I do appreciate our law enforcement, they are not angels or God. So we just need to do what Daniel did and that was pray.

You know why?  Isaiah tells us why, the nations are but a drop in the bucket and just a speck of dust on a scale that the merchant pays no attention to.  It is of little consequence.  Actually the nations are but a drop from the bucket.  This is kemar mideli in Hebrew.   Medeli comes from the root word deli with the preposition from, not in before it. We render this as a jar or bucket but it is often used as a picture of the prosperity of  Israel.  So what Isaiah is saying, “Why are you fretting over the pagan nations and what they might do to you. it is nothing. They have little to do with your prosperity. Not only that,  what little they have to do with your prosperity is of no consequence.  God is the one who gives you your prosperity.”  The word drop is kemar from the root word marar.  The Kap at the beginning is the preposition like or asMarar basically means a passing, something that just passes by and is of no consequence.

The word nations is goy which are really non Jewish people, not so much nations. The context suggest nations so that is why it is translated that way but we can also say people.  These people (presidential candidates in our present context)  are counted as small dust on a balance. In the market place where merchants used balances the sand and dust often blew on the scales.  The merchant merely wipe off the scale before weighing the product. Even the very dust did not contribute to the weight of the product.

So, come this election day, don’t fret if your candidate does not win, don’t panic over the thought that one candidate is a satanist, God has dealt with worse and so has his people throughout history.  Hey, even the very kings of Israel practiced sacrifice of their children, satanic worship and God prevailed. What usually happened after the people prayed was that a king would come along, at least in Judah, who really did some house cleaning and as a result, Judah was spared for a time the fate of the Northern kingdom because the God fearing people of Judah came together and prayed.  And let me tell you, Judah had some pretty sour kings who would make our present candidates look like altar children.

So come election day, vote as you feel led by the Spirit of God and when you come home don’t sit by the TV murmuring or fretting.  There is an old story in Jewish literature about a farmer who met with one disaster after another and each time people would say: “My, my how unfortunate, how bad for you, what are you going to do?”  The old farmer replied: “It may be bad, it may be good, as for me I will just sing and dance and praise the Lord.”
